Christians and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints both speak of the gospel, but the two traditions mean something different by that word. This event exists to help you understand that difference clearly, and to grow in your own ability to share the true gospel of Jesus Christ with the Mormon friends, neighbors, and family members already in your life. The approach is relational, not combative: speaking truthfully and lovingly, asking good questions, and listening carefully, rather than mocking or arguing.

The presentation will be led by Truth in Love Ministry (TILM), an outreach ministry that exists to proclaim Jesus Christ to the lost and to equip Christians to witness with clarity and compassion, with a particular focus on reaching Mormons. Their conviction is simple: Jesus' finished work is sufficient for salvation, with nothing left to add, and that truth is worth sharing with sincere love and respect for the Mormon people themselves.
